I Work Best Under Pressure

Two days before I pull out of Milwaukee for the trip to Virginia Beach, VA. I’m now officially under the gun. My perfect storm. Even when I was a corporate guy I work best under pressure. So here we go tonight!

Left saddlebag all packed. Rain suit, sunscreen, and spare sunglasses.
Right saddlebag empty. Oh it will be used just not sure with what at this point.
Rear wheel off for new tire, brake inspection, and bearing repack.
Old tire removed. Could break the bead with my hands.
Tightened all spokes up.
New tire going on.
Good to go!
Next is to remove the external brake shoe linings. they ride on the outside of the brake drum.
With this old riveting press, tightening up all the brake lining rivets.
Cleaning up the brake drum surface.
Rear wheel all cleaned up. New tube and tire. Spokes tightened. Brake drum cleaned. Next will be bearing repack tomorrow.
All spare parts and tools in this pile.

So it was a good day. I also rode another 22 miles. Tomorrow is riding more to determine my range. All good. Thanks for following. Later,,
