Preparation Continues

Not a minute of any day now does not consist of thinking about the Cannonball. It’s an all encompassing event. Think about it all day and dream about it at night as the minutes click before the green flag drops.

Getting prepared to be away from home for almost a month is another thing. Pre-paying your bills, alerting the neighbors letting them know you’ll be gone, and making sure there is enough gas in the garage for the lawn mower.

Installed new shift rod ends.
This is the goal each day – make all the miles and get a decal for your bike.
This box holds all the tools to do my daily maintenance. I will carry all of this, except the grease gun, with my while riding.
Another spare parts box almost complete. These will be in the trailer in case I need after the day’s ride is done.
The tool pile is getting smaller.
40 mile ride and the oil system is now all dialed in.

Total of 220 miles so far. Bike is running great! I believe I am almost ready.

Over and out.
