Today was engine evaluation and maintenance. All looking good! Flywheels and rod are perfect. Still true. Bushing are still in spec. Will clean up piston and re-ring. All on track for a May 1st riding season!

Looking good my friend! Amazing how the internals show little or no wear. Reckon the guy that put it together was paying attention to the details. As always, good luck Pal!

Me Trilby Hello! We don’t know each other but our common choice in motorcycles brings us together. The bike ran with a weak spark and then it just stopped. Checking around we found no compression. Pulled the engine, removed the head and found the valve stem broken at the valve head. No damage to the piston.
In one word: HELP!!
Would you, will you please get me on the correct path to repairing my 1911 Excelsior single?
